We shopped at the Edmonton west-end store today and it was a great experience! My husband has been refinishing a table and four chairs that are from a much earlier era. He needed something that would protect our hardwood floors, for the legs of the table and chairs. Also, as the table top is travertine and extremely heavy, he needed additional support there as well so that the weight could be distributed without exerting too much pressure on the floor. Wally was amazing! We had brought one chair in, and he was able to supply us with plugs for the leg bottoms that fitted perfectly, as well as other items. I’ve been coming to Caster Town for years — but not yet been to their current location in the West End, just off 184th Street. They’ve always been my go-to place for casters of course; little, big and mid-size wheels galore. If it rolls, they’ve got a version of it — and some you probably wouldn’t expect.
Casters are fun to spin, fun to hold, fun to look at — I could spend an afternoon just playing with them ? . . . they keep more than just casters though.
Over the years I’ve also picked up cotter pins and a few other odds and ends. Today, I dropped in looking for a spring mechanism for a gate — something... read full review

I got a set of casters for a home office chair 15 years ago. I wanted someththing that would be safe for hardwood floors. Despite tons of use, the casters Caster Town recomended are still fantastic and have not damaged our floors. We recently needed another set of casters and I was reminded of what a comfortable shop they have and how helpful the staff are. I'm glad they are no longer on Yellowhead!
