As a woman who is absolutely ignorant about vehicles - but takes care of her stuff - and just wants an HONEST place I can trust my vehicle BLINDLY to, I am so lucky to have found a trustworthy, competent shop! I came to Bruce Stewart’s after experiencing being ripped off from a national chain in regards to an oil pan replacement… I was told offhandedly by this chain that I was going to need a complete engine rebuild, and I decided to get a second opinion. I heard about Bruce from my coworker – thanks Kent! – and went there solely because I was told he was trustworthy and would tell me what was actually going on with my vehicle. His shop took the time to do a complete look over and helped me determine that not only did I not need an engine rebuild, but that the original work had not been done correctly. He not only fixed the oil pan properly, but also did work on other maintenance things. So pleased! Surprisingly, a few weeks later my check engine light came on. During the Christmas holidays! He personally took my vehicle indoors when they were closed right after the tow, and fit me in Tuesday morn! It turned out to only be a small issue that he fixed right away. All this for the same (or less) than the national chains.
And… after having every single thing done to my vehicle clearly and effectively explained to me, I have absolute confidence in this shop! You won’t go wrong here. Absolute confidence!

Reviews
The Staff are always courteous, the Technicians are very thorough. Usually the repairs can be done the same day as long as parts are in stock. They also have courtesy cars if your leaving your vehicle for the day. It is a great Auto Repair Shop.
Bruce Stewart's has been essential this year for my older Mazda 3. It's definitely needed a few big repairs and they've been able to get me in last minute, as well as planned out a week in advance for big and small repairs needed.
The staff are friendly, the establishment is clean and well maintained and the price is affordable compared to some places.
They started me off with a 24 point inspection, and I was able to decide the most important repairs to be done from there which is appreciated. They don't ever push anything unnecessary either.
