End to end this was an AWESOME experience! I cannot see myself ever renting a moving truck again. The staff to start at both originating and end locations and booking team were all fantastic to deal with. Great communication throughout the process and did not miss a timeline or date.
Now the actual value of using the box. So much better. To start you don't have this mad rush to stuff all your stuff in a truck in the fastest amount of time to get on the road. I got 4 days to do load at a speed that was at my pace. Normally I would be hitting the road and already tired driving a big giant truck so already a risk.
UPDATE*** Changing from a 1* to a 4*. I was contacted by the company and given a couple different options to rectify this situation. Robin was incredibly helpful today, and was able to come up with a solution that respected our moving situation and bylaw parking issues.
The move from Kitchener to Edmonton was seamless....however, since then, has been nothing but problematic. We are moving on March 27. Apparently, even though our driveway is exactly 20' (and being told the driveway must be 20' to deliver), I have been told the driver may or may not deliver, and if the driver chooses not to deliver, then I have to pay them again, to take... read full review

We recently moved and had a 2 week overlap from moving out to moving into our new place.We rented 1 bin from Steel Box and were extremely satisfied with the service. Price was reasonable. Communication was amazing. They were on time and received a call prior to pick up each time. When I phoned for any questions the staff was also available for my questions via email or phone and very pleasant. This company is on their game and it's a pleasant surprise to see this high level of customer service.
