Having complied with all the stated requirements of moving furniture and vacuuming the area, I was less than impressed to receive a call two hours into the four hour window, in which I was expecting the carpet cleaners to arrive, telling me that they couldn't be there that day.
I spoke to several managers in succession, explaining that I had two unusable living room areas (one with no furniture in it and one with ALL the furniture in it) and that it was not acceptable for them to cancel at such short notice.
Everyone was most apologetic, but I simply wanted someone to resolve the issue.
The original window had been 12.00 - 16.00. FINALLY, I was told someone could be with me between 17.00 and 19.00. Eventually, after a call to tell me there was a problem with the truck, they turned up at 20.30. I had to send them away: it was getting dark and it was simply too late.
I was utterly furious and sat down to type a scathing review. At just before 21.00, Kristen rang me, once again full of apologies and explanations, and offered to make me the first job the next morning. I was reluctant but felt I had no choice.
Enrico and his assistant arrived at 8.30 and did a super job.All of the stains (bar one, that we already knew to be indelible) were removed and they were quick but thorough.
I had intended to post a one star review but the actual carpet cleaning was done really well. Upon reflection, I felt that there had clearly been unanticipated problems and I really felt that the people I dealt with (Kristin in particular) had done everything they could to resolve the situation.
Actually, I feel you can tell more about a business by how they respond when things go wrong than by how they behave when things run smoothly.
