I met with Cathy for the first time today. She was delightful. This was my first time going to a PT at all. She was very kind and attentive. She made the process really easy. She explained what she was doing and why as she evaluated. She gave me homework (I.e. exercises to do at home) and a plan to move forward with. She explained how their process works and allowed me time to think on my decision moving forward. I can feel already that she is going to be able to make a difference in my body as we work together and that she is very focused on my healing and overall health.Update July 2023: I have finished my sessions with Cathy and am feeling amazing! Best physical therapist I’ve ever had. Went from not being able to walk properly for a year to resuming full sports activity and feeling better than ever. I’ve been through 6-7 physical therapists and sports medicine doctors in the last 5 years and none of them can compare to what I’ve gotten here. Can’t recommend enough.
Dr. Blackman at MyPT is incredibly knowledgeable, professional and the most caring PT/doctor I’ve met. Not only has she brought me out of severe pain, she has taught me practical ways to improve mobility and strength. I sent my husband to her and she has greatly improved his quality of life. She also was my first call when my daughter needed relief from spasms & neck pain. Look no further, she’s the real deal. Our family is incredibly grateful for her!
