Five stars for my Brazilian wax with Yuni! She did a FABULOUS job making sure every hair was gone. We had a great chat while she did my wax. They use strip wax which I have never preferred, but Yuni used great technique. I LOVE the shea butter offered to me at the end, as well as the moist towel. I felt like I was in a friendly and safe space from start to finish. If you return within 6 weeks of your wax, you will be able to pay a lower "maintenance" rate. My sugaring was painless and the studio was especially clean. The woman working there was kind and made me feel welcomed and calm. The studio is a little difficulty I find. It's in the back alley behind CA Ave, next to the Indian restaurant and next to 8 limbs yoga.
Protip: the entrance is actually down the alley between California & 42nd, up the top of the stairs and then past the yoga studio reception + shop, then right down the hall past the yoga studio itself and the entrance is on the left. It's a little tricky to get to but it's definitely worth it. Madalynn was awesome and did an exceptional job, I haven't had a wax that good in years! She's also incredibly personable and friendly.
