Highly recommend Shane for your chimney/fireplace needs. We had never had our chimney cleaned in 18 years and fully expected it would need a sweep, but Shane came in, inspected it and told us it was clean and didn’t need sweeping so he couldn’t, in good conscience, charge us the price he had quoted. He charged me a reduced price just for the inspection. He is honest, trustworthy and friendly!

Shane from McKay Chimney was great! He came and checked out my chimney and wood stove for a insurance form I needed filled out. He noticed a cracked liner tile at the top of my stack and the lack of a proper chimney Cap. He fixed both quickly, and the work looks amazing. As a prior home inspector it is one of the best chimney caps I’ve seen! He and his team was friendly, communicated well, and the pricing was extremely fair. I would recommend them to anyone and will utilize them for all my chimney needs.

We don't have many fires in our fireplace, and it had been a couple years since we had it checked out, so we went back to McKay, who did such a great job for us several years ago. They did a thorough check, explained what they saw, and were very friendly. Reasonably priced and professional, highly recommended.
