Terrible customer service skills!!!! Awful! Unprofessional! Rude. Groomer knew I was upset when they refused to cut my puppy with 1 small tangled area even when i offered to take him to my car and cut it off myself. Groomer with reddish blonde hair repeatedly smiled and sarcastically told me "Have a nice day ma'am!" Even after I said "please don't say that to me as you can see I'm upset"..SHE SAID IT AGAIN! This groomer raised her voice over talking me when I was explaining how rude she was. NEVER go here. Can't see into the grooming area like you can at Petco. Petco is grooming my puppy tomorrow. Never returning to Chester Petsmart again. I have reported her to corporate.

I was visiting my boyfriend for the weekend and decided I was going to get my dogs an appointment to be groomed at the Chester VA location. Was very excited about it because I love a fresh groomed dog and PetSmart always does a good job. Well I arrived and had a picture and before the groomer Abby assessed my dog she didn't look at the picture and said if we can get the clippers through. So I do have schnauzers and they tend to get matted and as I said before I have been working with PetSmart for a long time. When they get matted we normally go low and that is it. She did a poor and lazy assessment and stated they both had to be sent out to a Vet to be groomed. Mind you...read full review

We have a Aussie doodle and our appointment was at 3pm... everything was fine until 45 minutes later we get a call saying they were unable to groom our dog . Due to him being " skittish " and doing " cartwheels ." The only service done was a wash ... which is something we can do ourselves. The one thing he needed the most was trimming of his nails and we had to do it ourself which was a much better outcome and his behavior was normal . I just feel like these people are not professionals and don't know how to handle dogs properly. I will not be going back .
