Post 7835 is exceptional. Wife and I get the chance to go when I come to visit my cousins Chuck & Cindy Sophie. They even have a plaque honoring my late Uncle Jack Kowalke ( Cindy Sophie's Father). I am a Life Time VFW Member (currently I am with Post 8919 here in El Paso - I was Associated to 7835 years ago - I believe I will change back to 7835 - Just Because of Who- What they are and How THEY Represent the VFW!!!

May 1 BBQ and Charity event...Great peeps: Momma Shawn, Stan da man[furry] & amazingly beautiful wife!Sorry I forget others names John & his wife i think, and one of the quickest bartenders EVER, lil girl too!! Weds Cheese Burger & Fries Night(and other stuff also)gotta be good b/c momma Shawn frying up. John think on grill?,So come support Local Vets!! Also special event area, pool and Texas Texas Hold'em nights 2-3x a week!!!

This is my home VFW, and the best VFW in North TX in my opinion. I love it here, and you will too. Come on by for pool, poker night, monthly activities, food, and drinks at a great value with your veteran family.
