Volunteer Computers

Called in trying to replace one key on my laptop and had a back and forth for days trying to get a straight answer. Finally they call after almost a week and say that it will cost “several hundred dollars” to fix because they need to replace the whole keyboard. Took a chance and bought the key off Amazon and snapped it on. It works just fine. Don’t waste time or money here. The staff was friendly enough when i could get them on the phone.

I go in there every now and then and they were nice. But they were always talking about other customers badly. One of the employees (maybe the boss, can't remember his name), came to my work place. He was extremely rude and impatient. He was talking horribly about me to another customer right in front of me. I guess he did not recognize me. Do not go here.

Stopped by to see what they would charge to partition and format a new hard drive. This is basically a 5 minute job and he wanted to charge me $75. I am a certified technician and I can do computer work at the fraction of their cost.
