The VWHRC and in particular Scott was there to give our family the assistance we desperately needed recently. I appreciate beyond measure the financial help but was so impressed with the genuine care, respect, and kindness showed us during a dark and low time. But I think what I am most grateful for is that we have found a community that our family can give our time, talents, and love. As an Army Brat spending the rest of my life with a former sailor, I think I'm qualified to say veterans are some of the best our country has to offer. Great place for Veterans to go to find out about their benefits. Very helpful and extremely knowledgeable on getting the veteran the help he or she may need. Thank you for being there for ?? us.

From Veterans Welcome Home and Resource Center

The mission of the Veterans Welcome Home and Resource Center is to assist our local honorably discharged veterans with job placement, filing claims with the Veterans Administration, help those veterans who find themselves in deep financial difficulty, and to temporarily shelter those veterans who are homeless until permanent housing can be secured. In order to accomplish these goals, we will seek out all available resources within the community, and bring a better awareness to the sacrifices our military veterans have endured to provide safety and security for the United States of America.
