I’ve been riding with Mrs. Anne at Big Oak for years! It is a beautiful facility with excellent training that is approachable and kind. She has an excellent herd and offers western training, which is hard to find in this area. I would highly recommend!
I am a 72 year old man who recently had back surgery. While I am an experienced rider, I had not ridden since surgery and therefore lacked confidence in the saddle. I was also concerned about a planned challenging horse trip to Mexico.Anne agreed to giving me a lesson to reorient me and help prepare me for the trip. She was very patient in helping me regain confidence for a challenging trip. What I respect and appreciate the most was Anne’s attention to detail. She watched my every move to ensure that the critical details of safe riding were observed. Thank you Anne!
We had an absolute BLAST at Big Oak today! Our horses were so gentle. My husband and I have rode before but our niece hasn’t. Misty was so sweet with her. Reid and Dexter are the cutest! Trish and Betsy were the best! They were patient and informative with all the questions my husband had about the horses. Trish was so nice and took pictures and videos of us along the way. We will definitely be returning!!
