There isn't anything I could possibly write here that would adequately express how grateful our family is or to express what a profound impact Alexia has had on our daily life. But here goes: my family underwent PCIT 'play therapy' here for several months. I was very, very skeptical. We have participated in many different types of therapy over the past two years, each with varying degrees of success. This was a complete game changer. For reasons I still do not completely understand, attending these raltively brief session transformed our lives and our day to day experience with our child. I would recommended Whole Hearts Counseling to anyone looking for counseling for their young child. My 2 children grew some much with their help and taught me how to continue the strategies used in sessions at home. Words cannot express the amount of gratitude I have for how they helped not only my children grow but myself as well. Thank you!

Whole Hearts Counseling specializes in child and family therapy. Areas of expertise is addressing challenging behaviors, trauma, and parenting issues. Main therapies use are Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF CBT), Circle of Security, Theraplay, and the ARC model. We promote behavior change through building positive relationships. We use a trauma informed approach to support in treating symptoms of Anxiety, Depression, Autism, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, ADHD type behaviors such as hyperactivity, aggression, among other challenging behaviors.We offer home visiting and in clinic mental health therapy sessions. We accept Medicaid, CHIP, BCBS, United, Cigna, Allegiance, private pay.
