As with most VFWs (I feel & hope) the food was good & plenty. My mother had the liver & onions; she said it was VERY good. I'll have to take her word on the liver... Drinks are a fair price, the meat raffle is fun & the quality of meat was good.
Hat off & a full salute to the Menahga VFW! Our first time visiting Menahga VFW for "TWINGO" KDLM Detroit Lakes Radio station premonition. They were prepared witha a special "TWINGO" menu & community help to serve the 200 people who showed to play. They were a bit overwhelmed but managed to sort things out to get food & drinks delivered. A big thank you to the cooks & teens in the trenches of the kitchen for their hard work & determination to deliver! 2 bars & table serve for beverages.This is had a northwood update with pine log interior & home spun feel make everyone feel welcome!Right on HWY 71 south, it's easy to find for a cocktail, pull tabs or a break from the...read full review
