Dr. Vandervelden is AWESOME! He is very helpful and wants the patients to sleep better. The staff is very friendly and wants to get to know you, so you feel more like a friend rather than just another patient. Thanks, Dr. Vandervelden for helping me sleep like a baby.

I was diagnosed with sleep apnea and my doctor recommended a CPAP machine but also offered an oral device as a possible alternative. I immediately knew I wanted to research further about the oral appliance before just going to a CPAP machine, even though my insurance would cover the CPAP and not the oral appliance. After further research I decided to go forward with Dr. Vandervelden at WMCA. They were very thorough, I never felt pressured, and immediately trusted what they were telling me. With a small dental appliance my diagnosed mild sleep apnea my sleep has gone from 4/hrs a night to sometimes 9/hrs a night and no headache in the morning!!!!! Dr. Karl and Sarah are miracle workers :)))) much love, Karen Yaworski
