Watched second half of a disappointing Lions game here. It was chicken wing and fries day. Food was awesome. Larry also treated us to deep fried sliced baked potatoes. Very good. Great view and good people.
The American Legion, Post 3 is a great place to visit! They host member meetings, fish fry's, burger nights, themed holiday parties, blood drives, and many events held by their members and the community. My favorite part is being able to sit on the deck on a nice day and watch the freighters go by.
This has to be my very favorite Legion ( so much so I signed up to be a member). It's fun and relaxing to watch the freighters with good company. I can't speak for their community services but seeing how it is a busy and thriving club I assume they must do a great job.
