I participated in a honey harvest for Bees in the D, and it was super fun and interesting! The Brians are amazing and incredibly thoughtful in everything they do. I would definitely recommend checking out Bees in the D!

Two of the most dedicated and hard working beekeepers ever. Night and day they are educating and working with 100s of hives. Always rescuing and saving swarms to protect them. Some of the BEST people I know. ?

Bees in the D is such a great nonprofit. Not only do they have wonderful honey, but their events are always so much fun. If you have a chance to volunteer or even just taste their honey, take it!

Bees in the D is a trusted group of educators focused on pollinators, specifically honeybees, and provides a model for beekeeping nationally. Through global education and our nationally recognized urban beekeeping model, we increase knowledge around pollinators and are a recognized advocate for honeybees. Our nonprofit provides honeybee hives and beekeeping training for schools, businesses, and local municipalities. We also re-home honeybee swarms, so call us right away, don't spray!
