Phil worked with my high schooler this spring to help build his Algebra 1 skills. He was very thorough and flexible. My son was able to come a long way in the amount of time we had. He was able to fill in a lot of gaps he had and began building a foundation for future learning.

I had Phil as a tutor for my Calc 2 class Fall of 23. He was great at breaking down and explaining the fundamentals of everything. His viewpoint and way of thinking was influential in my own development and understanding of math.

When I came to Dr. Grizzard at the beginning of this year, I was failing my algebra II class with a 0.5 (F) and hated the slightest mention of math. It's now early May and I have a 3.2 (B) in that same class! It's only been a few months but Dr. Grizzard has been so patient and understanding with me as he's helped me start to enjoy mathematics.Being autistic, math and equations can sometimes be quite the challenge for me, but Grizzard's teaching methods and his ability to explain the "why" has dramatically improved my enthusiasm and ability!
