Maybe one of the most pleasant experiences I have had at a business ever!! Having a kid with lice is incredibly unpleasant but bringing them here not only got the issue resolved in a single session but the lady that helped my son (I wish I could remember her name!) not only knew exactly what she was doing but she explained every step and made us both feel so much better about the situation. She was also super pleasant to talk to and on the way out when I inquired about follow up treatment at home and what supplies to purchase she did not try to up sell anything and specifically helped me pick out exactly what I needed and nothing more. I honestly can't say enough about Shiny Strands. I found lice in my Daughters hair on Wednesday night i called and left a message and Kim called me back before they even opened on Thursday and got my Daughter in at 10:30. Melissa at the Barrington location is phenomenal. She is friendly, understanding and beyond knowledgeable. My Daughter had a Halloween party that she wanted to go to on Friday and Melissa was able to get all to the Nif, Nit and live adult outs and my daughter was allowed to got to school on Friday and attend her party. Very expensive. Around 90 per hour, but worth the piece of mind, and staff is incredibly knowledgeable. They will help make sure your child's lice is taken care of. They offer a number of products in store which can often be found online for cheaper, but is a nice option if you want something convinenient.
