If I think back, it was my grandmother who taught me to sew. It felt like walking into her sewing room when you step into Hemline Alterations.She's a cornerstone of Jefferson Ga. When you step into her shop she is surrounded by the different projects she is working on. She is quite popular with the local community.We gave her, what turned out to be, a harder than it looked project. We needed the old elastic taken out of 4 pairs of professional road bibb shorts. The last person we took them to didn't put in the elastic correctly. Plus, charged us over $100 with us including the special elastic, which she kept.Pearl only charged us $40 and returned the left over elastic....read full review
