We scheduled a virtual estimate but never got info on how this was to occur and our appointment time came and went without any contact from the Decatur Cleaning Authority. When we call the phone number on the website, the recording doesn't identify the company, it has Richard Showers' voice recorded along with an announcement telling me we cannot leave a message. We called corporate to inquire but they are of no help. There are some good reviews, but they must be bogus because this doesn't appear to be a real business.

We used The Cleaning Authority for many years until my husband's wedding ring went missing right after they left. We didn't even assume theft but rather accidentally losing it (it was in the bathroom cabinet where the spent a lot of time that particular day). After a full year of back and forth, we never received any compensation and couldn't even get the corporate office to contact us about it. So we're out $800 for a new wedding ring not to mention the sentimental value of the original one that was also engraved.
