My friend and I met up with several other local motorcycle clubs to support the Winter Springs VFW last weekend for a Poker Run hosted by the Bunker Riders. Registration and breakfast were served at Post 5405 in Winter Springs. Registration to join in on the ride was $15, which included your poker sheet, fresh coffee and a variety of Dunkin donuts. Kickstand-up was at 10am, and our first stop was Larry E. Smedley's National War Museum, better known as "The Bunker" in Orlando. Bartender, Sherry, was awesome. Outgoing, friendly, accommodating, felt welcome there and made sure to tell us about upcoming events we may be interested in. Definitely will visit again when she is behind bar.
Great outfit! Filled with folks who defended our country and now fight to help the community. First class! Great employees, members, and guest. And by the way, it's a great place to blow off some steam or get a great meal.
