I like taxes about as much as I like bedbugs. But here's the thing: the people at the Gadsden County Tax Collector are so friendly, professional, and kind. To be clear: This is the DMV. Yes, the DMV. Some of the perks of living in Gadsden: lines are rarely more than 1 person deep, people are (generally) friendly, and staff can tell you exactly where you need to go (and often whom you need to speak to). It's rarely more than one block over - easy and quick to walk to.Crummy attitudes are far less frequent than in other, larger counties in my experience.
In my case, it required some information I needed help from Tag office clerk. Although I thought I had all that was needed, I needed an additional item, regarding my auto insurance. The clerk Barbara was very patient and kind, and provided me with the information I needed to get the information from my insurance company, and how to fax it back to the tag office.I felt she did a great job, and want her superiors to be aware of that.Thank you.
