This company is a total FRAUD! If you are thinking of using Principal for your retirement needs I encourage you not to do so. First, they have the worst customer service and second you can only send them a message through their website because they can never provide email addresses or direct phone numbers. You have reps like Laura who hang up on you and simply dont care about customers. They use very shady practices and you can never obtain a solution. I gave them a call on 06/01 to payoff a 401k loan I had until 06/09/21 to pay and they said it was paid off when I never did. They said they would open a resolution ticket to look into the matter and reverse the transaction....read full review
