Very proud to be part of the American Legion Post 209. What sold me on this post is the Community Commitment. Post 209 theme is to support our local families, they are always donating thier time to help others. Every memeber is commited to do something. I am a proud member of the Military and a proud Legioneer of post 209.
Full disclosure, I am a founding member of Post 209 in Forestville, CT. Our mission is to be a positive force in our community and to help the veterans who have given to our great country. I am proud to be part of this organization and I hope you will join.
We are a close group that works well together to support veterans and the community. We welcome any new members into our group at all times. This goes for the American Legion as well as the American Legion Auxiliary.
