My first time receiving acupuncture has been here at Deer Song with Sau. Sau is an incredibly thoughtful practitioner who takes the time to hear about my physical discomforts, and even what's going on with my emotional state. I feel really safe and taken care of during our acupuncture sessions. I was weary about needles so Sau tested a couple needles on me during a cupping session to gauge my level of comfort.I'm always looking forward to my appointments because I get dedicated time to be treated, relax, and be fully present. There are not enough stars to rate the constellation that Deersong Acupuncture embodies. I have been going to Y Thuan for chronic pain (neck, shoulder, and joints) and insomnia for nearly 4 years. Their practice, their mindfulness, and most of all the wholeness that they approach healing has me consistently returning and has improved my quality of life tremendously since the first day I arrived. I'm a nurse and usually treat my ailments with pharmaceuticals, particularly my migraines, which I have at least once a month since my 20's. I take 800mg of ibuprofen 2-3x a day during an attack and so my kidneys are suffering. My migraines are severe and often debilitating. I met Y Thuan a few months back and she started treating my migraines with acupuncture. Not only is relief immediate but everything else that comes with my migraines such as brain fog and extreme fatigue are significantly better, if not nonexistent, after treatment.
