Wish I had used Astro Termite prior to other companies. I've used a couple termite companies before, and they performed spot treatment and some wood replacement. One had me on a yearly maintenance plan and the other said just to monitor every year. Jim at Astro explained that spot treatments don't really work as the termites are likely in other places that the spot treatments can't reach.I had a few locations that needed some wood replacement. Jim came out to inspect a couple areas where I saw signs of termite infestation. Rather than try to make a sales pitch and make me pay for services I didn't need, his focus was to clearly educate me on what was causing the issue, and how best to approach the situation. He was very forthright in telling me that while he would be happy to do the work, he felt that in his professional view, it would be a waste of time and money and that he wouldn't recommend it. He also did a lot to put my mind at ease by answering my numerous questions.
