We have been residents at Ponte Palmero for two years. Our experience here has been outstanding. The facilities are beautiful, the staff is kind and caring, and the companionship of fellow residence is a treasure. My mother was 80 years old when she moved into one of the independent living duets at Ponte Palmero. Mom peacefully passed away in that same duet five weeks ago. After this 10 year stay there, I cannot imagine a better place for her. In independent living, you need to bring in your own caregivers. If care is needed a resident can move into assisted living. We chose to bring in our on Caregiver’s, so that Mom can stay in her wonderful duet.Early on mom was very active in all of the Ponte Palmero extracurricular activities and she appreciated the staff and the opportunities she was given to go winetasting and to theatrical productions. I used to work at this property. It is overpriced for the residents and underpaid for the staff. I cared for my elderly residents as a staff member. but couldn’t get paid a living wage. I had to move on to another facility.
