My girlfriend and I were in the process of moving and were towing a U-Haul trailer when the bushing allowing my transmission to be shifted into gear broke. Calling around to several local shops and dealerships to see if they could fix it as quickly as we were stuck midway between Georgia and Huntsville with a load of belongings no one except Fosters said they would be able to check it for us immediately. After getting the truck into gear by crawling under the vehicle to engage the transmission we drove straight to the shop. Called yesterday because my mother in law broke down on the way to the house. I called Fosters and was immediately greeted with a polite and super helpful man who got all of the information needed to get her vehicle serviced once the tow truck arrived. No other shop in the area had availability until late next week. Upon arrival they immediately looked at her car and had her fixed and back on the road in about an hour. Quickest turn around I've ever experienced. Great staff here. My family is new to the area and will definitely be using these guys for all of our mechanic needs.

Foster's is one of the best places to get your car fixed in town. They care. They're honest. They go the extra mile to help you.My truck was suffering from a bad starter. After diagnosing the problem and installing a new one, it went out again shortly after in the Piggly Wiggly parking lot. They had gotten a bad part from Toyota (due to no fault of their own). I had been having other troubles with my truck previously, and for the fourth time this month, I had to take my truck in for another repair. I'm a broke college grad new to town, and another repair would have cost me big time. Instead of telling me to tow the car, Matt just told me to drop off the key at the shop....read full review
