“We engaged Carla to help us incorporate our new rescue dog Moose with our 4 year old German Shepard mix, Charlotte. Although Charlotte has been in a family with another dog, she did not take well to us adopting Moose after we lost our senior dog about a year ago. We worked with Carla on both dogs, and saw the biggest difference in Charlotte after a board and train for 2 weeks and follow up tips she gave us after Charlotte came home. Charlotte has become way less anxious, no longer pulls on walks (which is huge since she is about 95 pounds), and has become way less reactive towards other dogs and animals (squirrels, rabbits, etc.) on walks (before, she would lose it). She made so much progress in such a short period of time, it truly amazed us, especially since she’s been in training before and we only saw marginal improvements. Carla also helped us understand our new dog Moose, and get us off on the right foot. Moose and Charlotte get along great now, and the house is way more peaceful than it was before. “We are so happy with all of the work we have done with Dog Training Elite. While all of the trainers are professional and knowledgeable, we spent most of our sessions with Luke and couldn't be more pleased. We recently took Delilah on my work trip to Vancouver. She is only 9 months old, and we have been in training for about 5 months. She performed so well! She was perfect on the planes, great through TSA and even controlled her zoomies for 8 days. She was amazing. One thing I loved about this program, and working with Luke, was the focus on functional commands and obedience. They teach the basics for everything you need to be successful with a service dog, without any of the fluff. Another great aspect was that Luke always had his own service dog Cowboy with him and could easily model what commands and skills should look like. Plus Cowboy is just so damn cute. “I just got my two pups -- I so was on a mad hunt for two perfect, small, matching dog beds. I visited numerous stores and my persistence paid off when I found what I was looking for on SALE (but that Petco only had one). I went home and called several local stores and was lucky to find another one. The manager said they were closing in an hour but he would hold it for me until I arrived. I showed up in my pajamas (there was no judgment, lol) and I was greeted with kindness and a sense of humor from the manager. Extra bonus -- he matched the sale price from the other Petco. Nice! A giant THANK YOU to both Petcos that made me very happy--and for the two comfy beds that my two girls love!“

I like how friendly they are and that we can board our two dogs together in rooms with cameras which gave me some peace of mind while out of town. I also love the photos and post cards they send you. “I Have 2 dogs, one is 9, the other is 5 and is never had to board them until recently. Well, it didn't start out very good, the 5 yr old female Shepherd started freaking.At 5 am the next day I had a flight to New York, but Clay ( Furry Guys owner), texted me like 7 times while I was driving home and wanted me to go back andget them. I explained to him what was going on and why I need to get to NY, And asked him if he can give her an hour to see if she calmed down.Well, she did, and they ended up having the best time of there, and Clay gave me an update and pictures every day.I will definitely bring them back, if I have to.Thanks again Clay“

“July 2023: 5: I have used this business on several occasions for my feathered child. It has changed owners/management/location from several years ago to now. The staff seems to be interested in the nonhuman clients. Dec 2018: 4: I have used this Carrollton location on a few additional instances since I last posted a review. The follow up visits warrant an update for this location. The personnel here are stepping up their ability to show better effort to care for my feathered child. I used this place to board my first hatched feathered child and was allowed to use a small cat cage at a reasonable cost for nine days while we were at an overseas destination. Check-in/out was easy. I provided an eating list and food and the medical records for Alex. Weekend staff wasn't really doing anything to care for my pet as all the lights were off at 12:30 in the afternoon in a room with no windows. There is a connection to a Facebook Page that gives visual updates, but dogs and cats were featured in updates more often than other pets. I received two updates over nine to ten days that showed a photo or two. I did want the caregiver to at least indicate that Alex was eating regularly, any behavior observed, or just sleeping a lot. I wasn't impressed, but had no choice but to leave her here.“
