Club Pilates Pilates

“I love everything Club Pilates has to offer! The staff are welcoming, knowledgeable and always helpful. The instructors are incredible at what they do and really personalize your experience. Everyone who I’ve taken repeat classes with knows me by name and I’m always excited to go to class! When I had to freeze my membership for a few months due to a hectic schedule, I missed Club Pilates Sheepshead Bay every single day—I’m so excited to be back! My favorite instructors are Katherine, Vicky & Tanya but you cannot go wrong no matter which class you take. It’s always going to be a great experience! Even after a year and change I’m still learning new things. I cannot recommend this place enough!“

The Floor Pilates

“To say this studio is a place you come to work out is an understatement. It's a beautiful haven with wonderful people brought to you by the best teacher and founder. Jamie has helped my body rebound and recover from so much over the years; trauma, postpartum, the pandemic!, and the standard 9 hours of sitting at your desk. Her practice is nothing like other studios I've been to. Her form of pilates mat is clear, functional, thoughtful, and challenging. It's made me stronger. Jamie is so incredibly gifted at teaching and it shows in her cues and her attention to movement. My body completely changed because of what her studio has to offer. Highly recommend!“

Slope Fitness Pilates

“I’m writing this from Australia, just over 9 years since I left Brooklyn. I was casually looking through Google Maps and was so happy to see this place is still up and rocking… this remains the best gym I’ve ever been to in my life and I’ve got many great memories of my time here! I’ve been to a ton of different gyms since moving back “home” to Australia but have never found a gem like Slope Fitness.I miss this gym so much! Great size, staff and atmosphere. Ahh the hours I spent here were well worth it. Join and you’ll see what I mean!So happy to hear it’s still going strong after all this time:)“

Lula Body Pilates

“I’m almost reluctant to leave a review because I don’t want the classes to fill up, but I have only positive things to say about Lula Body, and especially the instructor Diana. I have been going every weekend the last few months and feel stronger. I’d also like to go during the week. (To the owners, please start offering 7pm classes!! ?)But literally after two classes, Diana knew my name, is encouraging and thoughtful, and switches up the exercises so it’s always a bit different. If you’re looking for a neighborhood Pilates spot- this is it.“

Club Pilates Pilates

“The instructors at this location are knowledgeable and excellent. Each one has a unique approach which is great because classes will be somewhat unpredictable and never boring. I suggest trying different instructors and finding what works best for you at each stage of your Pilates journey. Some classes are more intense than others. If you apply yourself and are consistent and committed, you will achieve transformative results. A special shout-out to Tetiana! It was her intro class that sealed my decision in joining and I have loved every class since. Thank you to everyone at this club.“

““The studio is in a great location for me. It has space and light and is a very attractive place to work out in. There is no better teacher than Leava Hall to my mind. She really "gets" my body and manages to give everyone in each of her classes a "customized" work out. No wonder her fans are so devoted. As we all are to Streamline.”“

The Fit In Pilates

“I’m so grateful that I found The Fit In. All instructors are all so kind, fun, and supportive during workouts. I love that there are three different locations within 20 minutes of each other and that when I buy my monthly pass I have the option to take classes at all three. Prices are also very reasonable, a month pass (4 classes per week) averages at $15 a class. They also have Pilates in the park, health events, and community happy hour.I just purchased my third monthly pass and I’ve seen such an improvement in my strength and lower back pain. I can’t wait to see where I’ll be at in a few months.“

The Fit In: Pilates Reformed Pilates

“Honestly the best Pilates studio I’ve been to in more than 20 years of attending classes on and off. So many Pilates classes I’ve attended over the years have felt like light exercise at best, but The Fit In’s are a serious workout that leave your muscles feeling it afterwards (and have even left me sweating one or twice).“

“Incredibly supportive staff, all bodies welcome, great workout! My only suggestion would be to offer an unlimited classes membership, in order to encourage fitness and health and attendance at more classes! Prices are steep! Also at some point offer lockers, showers, or toiletries to refresh after a workout!“

[solidcore] Pilates

“I've taken over 30 classes at this studio and 100 altogether. I love this studio! Lex is the best. Definitely take her class if you can There are 19 machines, 2 bathrooms and 1 change my room. Lockers, water fountain but no showers. No sweat towels. And be sure you know the door code to get in! Sometimes this studio is a little cold in the winter because one wall is all windows, so I'll bring a long sleeve or a sweatshirt with me. If you've never done this class before, it's hard but it's good! One of the best core workouts I've found and I've tried tons & tons of workout studios. Good for core and lower body. Not great for cardio, arms“

Lumen Pilates Pilates

“Wanted to share my experience with the Lumen team in Brooklyn. Focused, attentive and fun is what this Lumen offers. In addition to group classes, they also offer a mix of privates and semi-private classes. If you are newer to Pilates, a few privates is a great way to get a better feel for the practice (and equipment). You’ll also find that while many might consider it a great core builder for women - it’s a great workout for men as well.“

YO BK - Williamsburg Pilates

“Been coming to YO BK for about a year now (120+ classes), alternating between the Williamsburg and Greenpoint locations. I tried other yoga studios, but kept coming back here. I love the instructors and the supportive community. The teachers I've had classes with have all been great, I learn something new each time even if doing the same type of class. I used to have some teacher recommendations, but the more teachers that I try the more that I realize that you can't go wrong at YO BK.In my first 6 months coming to YO BK I enjoyed feeling the progress in my body of a consistent practice, particularly with Traditional Hot Yoga classes. There were things I couldn't fathom doing at the beginning that became possible over time. After 6 months I signed up for a yearly unlimited membership, and started regularly going to other classes. It's been amazing to challenge myself in different ways a I remain a big fan. My strength, flexibility and endurance have all improved. Most importantly, I feel grounded, present and happier when I consistently go to class.I noticed some that some people complain about not being let into class late. I for one appreciate it, it shows respect to the 20+ students that arrived on time to class by helping them remain safe, present and focused on their practice. I know it's very upsetting when due to something out of my control this happens to me, but still, I appreciate the policy.1 year in, I still highly recommend YO BK!“

“Absolutely addicted. The staff is super nice and I’ve only been going two classes max for a few weeks and my abs are already starting to come back. Only thing I don’t love is if you book through class pass you are put on the very end. Not an amazing spot for a beginner. None the less I’m about to buy a membership.“
