I usually always enjoy extremely deep pressure, however two days ago when I was in for a session, Nicola adjusted for me and provided something softer and more relaxing. I was very impressed that he can do 2, 3 or 4 hour sessions as well, that’s been very hard for me to find. Check out his really cool, fun artwork too! A quick side note, massage has helped me tremendously over the past 13 years, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually, it has helped create a positive domino effect in my life. I love the benefits massage provides me physically with pain relief when old injuries act up, breaking down of scar tissue adhesions, improved coordination, posture and muscle conditioning, better blood and oxygen circulation, bring able to breath deeply as opposed to the shallow breaths we can get used to while juggling busy lives. I feel good in my skin and body again, I want to participate in my life. Emotional improvements in my mood, ease of pains and aches. Also, the quiet time during the sessions is good for me, I can process things that have hurt my feelings or upset me. I leave the session feeling better having been cared for which naturally leads to more patience with others. “I came to Roger in a state of desperation. I've had a severely tense neck and shoulder area for years now. The night before I came to see Roger, I slept wrong and could barely move my neck in the morning. I couldn't even look into my blind spot when I drove myself to my emergency massage appointment later that same day. Roger was very personable and friendly, which put me at ease straight away. He began by opening up my chest area, explaining that unless we relaxed this part of the body first, my neck and shoulder muscles would take longer to open up. He proceeded to work areas that no other massage therapist has ever touched before. I don't think they had Roger's anatomical knowledge. By the time Roger got to my neck, he was surprised by how bad the injury was. But he took his time, assuring me that he wouldn't let me leave until we had made significant progress. He applied a good deal of pressure throughout the massage, which is exactly what I wanted. He worked harder than any massage therapist I've gone to see in the past. I left the appointment feeling so much better than when I first came to see Roger! I could look into my blind spot when I drove myself back home. I could move my neck (for the most part) from side to side. I still need more work because my neck injury was years in the making, and I've already decided that Roger is the only massage therapist I can trust for the job! I can't recommend him enough!“
