“Came to synergy orthopedics with a 50% tear of the supraspinatus shoulder tendon. I was unable to swim or surf, and after two months of physical therapy I am getting back to the sports I love, without surgery. The staff and physical therapist here are outstanding. Amy, Justin, Jenny and Fran have helped me through this injury using a treatment plan, progression of exercises and increasing weight. Justin is the king of cupping! Amy is very sport specific in her approach, and Jenny got me doing heavier weights little, by little. Great flexibility in appointments. Nicole does the scheduling, and always very accommodating in finding days and times that work best for me.“

“I am surprised by the mixture of reviews for Dr Murphy. It seems like they’re either 5 stars or 1. As for my personal experience with Dr Murphy and his team, it has been everything I could wish for in terms of medical care and service. Dr Murphy operated on my pec major tendon after rupturing it while exercising in 2017. Other surgeons at the time recommended implanting screws in my humerus and their treatment plans frankly scared me in the early days after my injury. Dr Murphy ended up fixing my injury by suturing the tendon back together. Medicine is an art form and Dr Murphy understands the art. I am currently seeking care for another injury and knowing that Dr Murphy can potentially treat this injury as well already gives me a sense of relief. I think a lot of the negative reviews are blaming the doctor or his office for things outside their control like what is possible through medicine or other personal misunderstandings. I can’t imagine the staff being rude or Dr Murphy not figuring out a proper treatment plan. I highly recommend him!!“
