Gino Cinqo has opened a completely life changing facility. I don't know where to begin but this is not your average physical therapy even though YES they accept insurance!!! TRULY transformative healing, generosity that is boundless, kindness at every level from front desk to management. I wish Gino could be in 20 places at once. also strongly recommend Jessica Wu.

FunctionSmart sets the highest standard for Physical Therapy care in the San Diego area. A decade ago Gino, Renee and staff guided me to speedy recovery and return to full function after two spinal surgeries. Last year, Natalie, Marisa, and Shay helped me to prepare for and recover from right knee replacement. This was a fabulous success and only the countywide coronavirus shutdown has prevented my return to tennis. I've been working on home improvements during the shutdown, which unfortunately led to a puzzling rib pain that interfered with most activities including sleep. Diagnosis was not easy as it persisted for weeks and didn't respond to massage and normal stretching. So my course of action was obvious ... back to FuntionSmart!!! Shay discovered a link to the quadratus lumborum. With three treatments and home exercise I am now pain free. Well, this body is aging. I'm sure glad that FunctionSmart is there to help it keep active!

Liz was my therapist and she was gentle but firm. She makes you work with a smile. I didn't even know there was therapy available for my bone on bone knees, but she helped me and made me a believer. Kudos to this lovely lady.
