Own It Fitness Trainers

“I’ve been working with Own It Fitness since October of 2023 in their personal training program. I had never done a formal training program before, and I was looking to lose body fat and gain strength for my upcoming wedding. After my consultation and movement assessment, Miguel and his team created a program for me that allowed me to meet my goals. Miguel really takes the time to explain proper form with each exercise, which was important to me. I never feel like I am walking into a workout, unsure of what to do. I already feel stronger and have more energy throughout my day. I feel supported and encouraged by the whole Own It team and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great personal training experience.“

“Esther is a great personal trainer and I am very happy to train with her. She is very kind and supportive. She pays really great detail to how the body is responding every workout and adapts as necessary which has kept me going. I have worked with many in the past and working with Esther has been truly transformative in my attitude to working out and seeing the difference in my body in a short period of time. I now look forward to working out!“

“My daughter went to Aikido at Fremont Aikido Club which is a nonprofit organization. My daughter loved this being there. She loved her classes. She is so eager to got here every-time and come home to show what she has learned that day. It is so nice to see how the instructors inspire and teach and let the kids grow. Great place to learn.“

“I have been training at this dojo for 12 years, and I can confidently say that Taekwondo has had a positive impact on my life. Through the life-applicable guidance of Master T and Master Fong's engaging lessons (along with Master Brian), I have learned a variety of techniques, and along with that, I've developed a persistent mindset. In addition to the art itself, I learned about the values that are essential to daily life. Even in my life outside this art (in school or other activity), I value the tenets of Taekwondo: courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and indomitable spirit. I hope that I use these traits to become successful.I initially joined because my dad wanted me to learn self defense. I was hesitant at first, but now I realize that dedicating more than half my life to Taekwondo is a decision I will never regret.Thank you so much, Martial Arts America! I am honored to be a part of this wonderful community!“

“The showers have hot water. The bathroom sinks have a sensor to reduce water consumption. The sensor basically limits the water to almost nothing. Washing hands is not an easy task. I've never understood their hours of operation. Mon to Thur is 24hrs. Fri to Sun they close early. Why can't they stay open 24hrs on the weekend if they are open 24hrs on the weekdays? I prefer the long hours on the weekend when I don't worry how late it is cause I don't have work in the morning. I'm not always able to workout on week nights. If they could stay open 24hrs every day of the week, that would allow more flexibility in my schedule and a better chance of me actually going to the gym. Offering more items for sale like small towels for members who forgot theirs. Larger duffle bags, branded clothing, headsets for those who forgot theirs. I always feel a little uncomfortable dressing in the locker room due to the layout being wide open. I think a couple room dividers of some type would help change that. Music in the locker room can help or can hinder a persons motivation depending on the kind. Why not play videos about fitness or sports or something educational on body self esteem. Theres my two cents based on my opinion only and what I like.“
