On the Move Physical Therapy and Pilates

This is a review for the Pilates studio which opened in January 2024. The teachers are the PTs from the attached physical therapy office, which really gave me confidence in starting to work out after recovery from a longstanding injury. And the teachers are all consistently excellent -- I believe I've taken classes with all but one and I have never had a class that I didn't come out of feeling amazing. The equipment is extensive -- reformers, chairs, spring board/wall, and all sorts of other devices at the ready -- and kept clean and in great shape. 8 reformers in the studio so classes stay small. It's perfect!!

I really like Alyssa and Jess class. I have worked with their studio for past 2 years! Super friendly stuff, very professional knowledge guide me through physical therapy and Pilates. I think the special about the studio is they are teaching Pilates via a doctor/therapist lens. This is very valuable.

I have been doing Pilates for more than 10 years now, and was super excited to see that Dr. Alyssa had opened up a Pilates studio in conjunction with her physical therapy clinic. I just signed up and have taken my first two classes with Drs. Alyssa and Jess. Both of them were warm and welcoming and did a nice job with queuing. I love that all of their instructors are either physical therapists or people who have done a lot of training in Pilates. The class sizes are also small with a maximum of eight people on reformers in the studio. Additionally, they have a springboard wall and chairs. The studio itself is beautiful. All the equipment is brand new and they have heat/AC. I also appreciate that they're working on building a community feel to the studio, which I feel is missing at so many places. I can't wait to watch the studio grow!
