The home study course was fantastic, I could do it at my own pace and the 5 day intensive review and Practical test was so worth it. I continued on to take several more courses over the next 10 years. I am now certified in Large and Small Animal Massage. And I am approaching 69 years of age. So it's never too late.“

“I have been attending obedience training with my young rescue dog through the levels program, and have been very happy with West Seattle Wonder Dogs. I appreciate the flexibility of scheduling and evening/weekend availability of classes, and it’s great that my dog can go through each level at her own pace. The class sizes are small enough that each dog/owner gets individualized advice and attention from the trainers, and the dogs get plenty of space. All staff that I’ve interacted with have been friendly.“

“Ann Waterbury at Sound Dog Connection is wonderful! We adopted a large breed puppy from a rescue in March 2023. Our new pup was guarding resources, biting, and sometimes aggressive when touched. I knew that the problems weren’t obedience, but behavioral instead. Ann taught us methods to work through our dog’s issues and how to read her cues so we could respond appropriately to her needs. What we learned was how to be the humans our dog needed and that each game we played was a learning opportunity. Our girl is wonderful and we’re so grateful for Ann’s help. “We recently had Veda cat sit our rather needy young mog. She did a great job, and clearly enjoyed her time with the cat. The cat seemed to enjoy it as well (always hard to tell with cats), and wasn't so hyper when we returned (always a good sign). Veda left our place in good shape too, washing the used cat dishes and leaving clean litter boxes.If you need a cat sitter, I would highly recommend Veda. We'll use her again!“

“Our dog has been with Gloria since she was 7 months old and absolutely loves her "adventure days". All we have to do is say "Gloria" to her, and she perks up. Gloria does a great job of making sure the dogs she accepts into her pack will be a good fit with each other, sends pics or video of them having fun during their outing, and our pup always comes back happy and wagging her tail and tuckered out. As a bonus: as a trainer, Gloria also gives me advice sometimes of things to work on with our pup and how to go about doing it. We've also used Gloria for some private training sessions which were super helpful. Definitely highly recommend Glorias Dog Trots!“

“I did the online dog training with Danette Johnston. Danette is so knowledgeable about dogs behavioral needs and really trains the human owners to recognize their dogs responses and tune in. Her training course is compassionate, humane, and in line with what science tells us about dog behavior.“

“I can't say enough good things about Susan, the owner of Run Spot Run. We have a miniature dachshund (who also happens to be called Susan!) and she LOVES going over to play with her friends at Susan's place. This is the perfect setup for us because Susan is an amazing caretaker who cares for our pup just like we would, and also because our pup enjoys smaller crowds than typically found at a doggie daycare so she really gets into great play habits and loves coming back again and again. We'll be lifetime customers as long as Susan will have us :)“

“Boarded my cat here this month for the first time. It's a funky homey place, clean but not cold or sterile. They have an open kennel policy for all the gentle respectful cats and 24 hr cameras so I could see how he was adjusting. I don't travel often but I would book there again.“
