“The staff was very kind and allowed us to take as much time as we needed with our Persephone even though they were nearing closing. They didn't make us feel rushed and were very empathetic and sympathetic to our situation. The doctor made sure to advise us on what to expect since I was holding her.They gave us the option of paying either before or after our trip in case we were too upset after she was gone. We had called around to check other places, but they were the only facility that you didn't need an appointment and didn't make you take the body elsewhere to have them cremated. Our normal vet required an appointment, making it feel impersonal and like nothing more than a business appointment.Although they were more expensive than some of the other facilities we spoke to, it was well worth every cent and next time we have to make this sad decision, we will only go to Blue Pearl.“
“My first time with EVV was when my 20-year-old cat had declined rapidly in health in 2021. Dr. Sophie was so incredibly kind and helpful in us reaching our conclusion that we had to say goodbye. It was something we had dreaded for a long time, but our experience at EVV was more than we could’ve hoped for under such sad circumstances.Since then, Dr. Sophie and the EVV team has seen our other two cats. One of which they’ve seen since he was a kitten. They’ve been so wonderful to work with and I trust the care they provide. I’m saddened that we’ll be moving to a different state and hope we can find similar care for our fur babies.“

When my dog had stopped eating for 2 weeks & several emergency vets told me “she’ll eat when she’s hungry” Hillside was willing to fit me in within hours to their busy schedule to see her & ultimately operate. They communicated copiously and I felt informed & supported every step of the way. I cannot recommend more highly.“
“I called Dr. Monroe to see if he could help our paralyzed dog. He was out of town but he called the day after he got home and left a message and then called again. He told us he couldn't help her but gave us other options and spent a lot of time on the phone educating me on her condition and what to do. I didn't pay him a cent and he wasn't expecting anything but his compassion was so amazing to me. He works with horses but if I had a horse I would take it to him. His integrity, compassion, knowledge and care is such that I haven't seen elsewhere.“

I was thankful for the speedy availability they had to get my dog seen within the same week, and I was happy the entire staff was understanding that my dog is not very outgoing with new people and needed time to warm up to being touched/addressed. “Unfortunately, the news was not good for our wonderful Ninja. Dr. Jeff called to tell me the litany of things that were wrong with him. He spent about 20 -30 minutes on the phone going over our options and giving me his recommendations, which I agreed with reluctently but wholeheartedly. Which were no extra ordinary measures. We proceeded to cuddle, coddle and love Ninja. We had hoped that he would pass peacefully at home. That was not to be, we called Neighboorhood Veterinary Care early one morning to arrange to have Ninja put to sleep. They were very accommodating and fit us in with in 2 hours. Dr. Lynette performed the procedure and was so calming, loving, and sympathetic as she put Ninja to rest. I have had previous cat put to sleep at another vet, which was handeled exceptionally well, but Dr. Lynette was head and shoulders above my last experience. Kudos to Neighborhood Veterinary Care from top to bottom. All the saff is wonderful, caring and sympathetic. Dr. Lynette does a great job with culture, staffing , skill and compassion Thank you, Shelley Carter“

“I found Dr. Perez by accident (as she was available for the appointment time we needed), and I'm so grateful! I took no time switching to her as our full-time vet. She is the best. She's brilliant, insightful, and keeps me well informed! She gives the most thorough exams, but doesn't over-prescribe or recommend any unnecessary procedures. The techs are also great with the nail trims, as we have three dogs with completely different personalities!I should also acknowledge this veterinary hospital for saving my dog's life seven years ago after he was attacked! We rushed him in because it was the closest, and they were able to get him bandaged with a drain, so we could get him safely to the emergency vet. We are forever indebted to them for their quick response!“
