I have been going to The Joint in Mboro for several years, and I always have had a good to great experience with the various doctors I have seen there. Until today, that is. While I very much recommend The Joint, I DO NOT recommend Janelle Farris. This woman did zero adjusting on me. I asked for her to adjust my neck and upper back areas. She instructed me to lie face down, then proceeded to use the drop table, repeatedly and rapidly raising it and pushing me down. No bones were moving; she was just making a lot of noise with the table. Conservative estimate of 35 times, pushing my back and face down into the table with my neck being forced backward. I stopped her and tried to explain how other Joint docs have successfully adjusted me, but she kept interrupting, citing over and over my patient notes in the computer, which I believe she was misinterpreting, over what I was trying to tell her in person. She was interested in finding discrepancies and differences in what my history said regarding adjustments and what I was currently asking her to do, instead of LISTENING, which is one of the most important skills a doctor can have, and which every other Joint chiropractor excels in. I told her I didn't want my lumbar adjusted, as it felt fine and I'd rather leave it alone than mess with it. She argued about it with me, telling me what it said in my notes. Dr Farris: my notes on lumbar are for when I get anything lumbar done AT ALL. Many times I have them completely skip lumbar and that is what I wanted to do today, but you wanted to argue with me about it. I have never had to get up and leave during an adjustment, but I did today due to Janelle Farris' inability or refusal to listen. The Joint did refund my visit, so I will return on a day when this horror show of a care provider is NOT on duty. Again, I LOVE The Joint, they get 5 stars. Janelle Farris, zero.

I really like Dr. Monica she is awesome doing a wonderful adjustment and balance all my body

My initial visit was great. The adjustment gave me some relief from neck and shoulder pain. The staff is friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable.
