My daughter has been here for a year and not only does Kyoshi Robert Torres lead with dedication he teaches mind, body, control while making it so fun for the kiddos. We have even had a few private lessons with Ms. Rodrigez and she was delightful and patient to my 8 yr old who just need a little 1 on 1. I would recommend this dojo to anyone who wanted a place that feels like a community in the Karate world. Its Amazing!“

“I’ve been training at the Hollywood Dojo for over 10 years. I’m now a 3rd degree black belt. I started training the weekend I moved to LA from Chicago and was immediately welcomed into the family that is this dojo. Sei Shihan John and Veronica have helped me grow spiritually, personally, and professionally over the years and though I’ve moved from Hollywood to Gardena (5 years ago), I still make the trip 2xs a week to train, center myself, and be with family. It is a traditional style, focused on technique and spirit, and acknowledges a traditional way of honoring the practice and your training partners and teachers (bowing). I cannot recommend Seido Karate and this dojo enough.“
