We are an elderly couple who had never had to deal with anything like this before. We felt overwhelmed by this event because it all seemed so complicated. The collision, caused by another driver moving at high speed and failing to yield left us both quite seriously injured and hospitalized thousands of miles from home in a community we didn't know. Jed and Heather of Barden and Barden were so pleasant and compassionate to work with. I had a surgery (vitrectomy) on my right eye, the end result was a central artery occlusion the left me legally blind in my right eye, after the surgery I questioned whether I had been given all of the options available and whether I had been properly informed.
