Quaint little shop in downtown. Parking was easy on a wet and windy Friday morning. I liked all the little details in the shop and the chairs were comfy. 10+ years of haircuts from Mike at Sandy's Barber Shop. If you want the authentic barbershop experience you had in your young (70's, 80's), this is the place to go. Call in advance to get an appointment on Fridays & Saturdays.

Since moving here 15 years ago, Mike has been my only barber--well, his brother was helping him out and cut my hair once. Sandy passed a couple years ago now but I still love hearing people refer to Mike as Sandy. He won't correct you. The shop has a beautiful new window and the door is getting painted soon. Stop by, even if you don't need a haircut, to say hello and see the train, old photos, and the shelves he made from the 100 yr old oak bench!
