I personally did not feel as if this was the place for me. I went once because I am trying to find my nail home and where I live has no good salons. I was super excited because of the reviews. The salon looks nice, chairs are uncomfy. The first thing that I did not like was that I was made to take off my own powder dip set. I was given a bowl of acetone and told to “move my hands around”. I sat with the dish of acetone for about 20-25 minutes. Any time I stopped moving my hands I was told to keep going. Personally, if I’m paying for a service I do expect the tech to take off the set. That’s not my job, if I wanted to do my nails at home I would. I don’t like my fingers sitting in acetone more than they need to. The next thing I did not like was how many times her dremel caught on my nails but it was a lot. Noticeably changed the way my nails looked, made my forefingers look hooked or curved downward. After this and after the top was applied, the powder dip set I got looked scratched to hell and not a solid color. Because of this the tech used both a gel color and gel top coat. Both of these coats were applied too thick. And because they were too thick my nail beds were burned underneath the UV light. Also did not listen when I asked her to shorten my nails. On top of all this, I was quoted a $40 service and ended up paying $55 before the tip. I’m unsatisfied and would not recommend this place to any one else. Now I’m about a week and a half after service and the nails didn’t even last a week. They are lifting and catch my hair when I run my fingers through. 0/10

Finally! Efficient (pedi and gel mani in 50 minutes), I was seated at my appointment time, Clean, Stylish (great color selections, very pleasant environment), Affordable (fair market priced). I found the booking process easier to call and the business owners are spot on with how they run this place! My only ding is that my stylist commented about how long it had been since I had a pedi which is true but also, I don’t need pedi shame. I still tipped her 26% and will request her again. Sass okay, shaming, nah. But not going anywhere else in VT again.

I began my nail journey in 1999 at 15yo and after a 21 year break, I reached out to begin treating myself again. I was initially saddened to find out the original owners had long since retired and was now under completely new ownership.
Much to my delight, the staff and family running Thu's legacy spot have elevated the bar from the founding iteration. It feels like family every time you step in. I'm eternally grateful I decided to add a pedicure onto my first visit. THIS is the hidden secret service that blew my mind and expectations. Kim made me feel like a new person and I spent nearly an hour in bliss, gearing me up for 3 nights of dancing. It was a complete coincidence that these two coincided but how lucky I am that they did! If possible, treat yourself to the $55 selection and you won't be sorry. I feel every human being deserves to experience this at least once in a lifetime and am absolutely determined to drag my hubby here for one!
The owners run this place like a top. They've gone above and beyond to accommodate my needs and schedule; never leaving me hanging on a broken nail fix, no matter how busy. They're always booked but are still able to accommodate me easily.
Dan is the artist behind a majority of the creative creations in the reviews. I somehow managed to secure a spot in his books and am excited about all the ideas I have to try together. So far he's managed to nail it and free styles it on the spot creating dainty decorations. I can't wait to see what we cook up down the road!
To put it briefly; I can't recommend this establishment more! I'm on my 4th or 5th service and each time they raise the bar! Aside from the talent, it seems like most every customer is known by name and acknowledged upon arrival. It's not false or forced; it's completely authentic and is the icing on the already delicious cake!

I had a great experience today with Khanh. She was very nice and did an amazing job on my nails and asked me more than once if I liked how they looked. I had a pic on my phone of what I wanted and she copied it exactly how I wanted. Great customer service! Highly recommend

I got my nails done on Friday and they were snapping off by the following Wednesday. I didn’t like how long they were and was told they couldn’t go shorter which I’ve had acrylics much shorter. I wasn’t pleased with them overall. I definitely wouldn’t ever pay $70 again for nail I’ll only have on for just barely 5 days.

Okay so, this place is super expensive for the effort they put in. it’s turn and burn they just want customers in and out. they don’t care if the nails last especially with the gel they do start to lift up and need to be resealed so they don’t pop off in 2 days but they don’t fix them even if it’s lifting, instead you can just go back and pay $10 for one nail to be fixed. go on amazon you can get all the resources for less than one set there. (these are grown out 2.5 weeks) but i asked for olive nails this was the nail on both hands, she didn’t even try to make them look the same, not a big deal but it’s a dot that’s it, not even remotely the same. also just super lifted and goofy looking.
