I would DEFINITELY bring my dog to Sandy Pines Kennels again in the future! The staff were friendly and dog lovers themselves.
My dog has some special needs and they understood what was needed and happily accommodated. The daily pictures was a plus and to see in the photos that he did not appear stressed was a positive thing as well. When I picked up my dog, he didn’t smell like a kennel which tells me they keep things clean and I appreciate that for my dog too.
The kennel has been in operation for over 50 years and the staff are family of the original owner which says a lot to me, not many businesses can boast a 50 year run.
My rescue pup is anxious to say the least, so the thought of boarding her while I’m away always brings up a lot of anxiety for me as well! That said, once I dropped her off and the compassionate staff asked all the right questions, I could tell my dog was in good care, and I felt confident going on my way! They also board cats, which is not always easy to come by. I could tell my kitty was comfortable and loving the staff and cat trees by the much appreciated photos posted every day on Facebook. The cost is also very reasonable compared to other boarding places. Thank you for taking good care of Billie and Olive. This is our boarding spot from now on!
Sandy Pines was recommended to us by our dog trainer, and now we recommend Sandy Pines to all of our friends! The staff are the kindest, most caring people, and they take the best care of our Tucker. He gets so excited to go inside when we arrive to drop him off - an excellent indicator of how amazing this place is! We also love getting to see his daily picture on Facebook, it’s a really nice touch :) Thank you so much for all you do!
