If you're trying to choose a yoga studio, I can't recommend Sangha enough. Not only do they have multiple locations so you can almost always find a class that suits your schedule, but they also have a comprehensive variety of class styles, from absolute beginner-level, to some of the most advanced classes I've attended. They manage to pull this off while maintaining a welcoming vibe, always accepting and celebrating each student for exactly who they are. Sara's Flow 2 classes are my favorite right now. Even though she's incredibly advanced, strong and disciplined, she is somehow able to make her students feel motivated and confident, striving for poses they would have never thought possible before.

A warm and inviting studio! There is a plethora of classes available. There are also multiple spots where classes can be taken. If you are on the fence about yoga give it a try!

Sangha studio is an incredible yoga studio in Burlington VT! There is a good variety of classes. I tried my first yin yoga class there and loved it! I have also done many vinyasa style classes that have been great as well. The instructors are super welcoming and kind. The studio is donation based so whatever you can afford or choose to give is accepted. It's also a great location. Love grabbing a smoothie or coffee at the smoothie place next door after a class!

This is such a wonderful, heart-filled studio right in downtown Burlington. I just went to a Flow class taught by De, and it was exactly what I needed after a long road trip to get to Burlington. Highly recommended, great vibe every time.

Sangha is the best yoga studio you will find in the Burlington area. They are a donation-based non-profit. They have suggested donations for their classes and their sustaining memberships, but they truly will welcome anyone who pays any amount, including $0 if that's what you can afford. In addition to their downtown studio on Pine Street and their ONE studio on N. Winooski Ave., they now also have a Williston studio in the Kismet building near Vermont Tech. All of their studios a warm and welcoming, and all have yoga mats, blocks, bolsters, blankets and straps available for use. They all have a restroom and a changing area as well. They have a very extensive schedule of all levels of yoga in all of their studios, and all of the instructors are very open and affirming to everyone who needs any accommodations. And they also have an extended selection of virtual classes to choose from. In addition to their studio classes, they also run many community events in various locations that are free and open to the public. And if you really get into it, they also offer teacher training courses as well. This old guy who has had back surgery and needs to use a chair, extra bolsters, etc. a lot has never felt anything less than welcomed with open arms from the first day I walked in. And I also love that this is a women-founded/women-owned and run business. If you are looking for a yoga study that you will truly call home and will really feel like you mean that, please come visit the wonderful folks that are Sangha Studios. Namaste.

The best way to connect with community. Sangha continues to lead as a non profit yoga studio, doing so much healing yoga. All classes are by donation and they’ve gone to Zoom classes. Every little but helps the community keep going and continuing to be there for others.

While I'm not a super yoga expert, I've dabbled at maybe 10 studios here and there over the years and I really like Sangha Studio. At Sangha Studio, I've gone to around a dozen classes with a variety of instructors and formats and I've nearly always been happy I went, and I've never been disappointed. I like the general vibe here, that yoga is not merely exercise but a spiritual practice as well. The majority of other students tend to be on the young side (20s and 30s) but there are plenty of people across the age, body and experience spectrum so no one should feel left out or intimidated. You can sign up for just one class, or get a short-term pass, so there's no long term commitment.

The community, variety of classes, and level of instruction can't be beat. Best Yoga Studio in town!
