The piercer was nice, but she didn't warn me that choosing hoops instead of studs for my double helix piercing would be much harder to heal and bleed a lot more. About 1-2 hours after I left the shop my ear started bleeding A LOT despite me not touching it or bumping it at all and I ended up passing out before it stopped. This was a year ago and it still hasn't healed at all. I don't think all of my bad experience is my piercers fault, but it was more expensive than places I've been previously and felt a lot more rushed.

I went with my friend for her to get a tattoo. The tattoo turned out great and we both love it! However, I did not receive good service at all, to the point where he seemed hostile towards me. Just throwing it out there that I feel like this place is way overpriced and doesn't have the best energy with certain artists. Nothing against his artwork, though.

Got my third peircings done here the placement was great and there was minimal pain in the healing process the peircers were so nice and the aftercare instructions helped a lot! Also super good prices

Got my first tattoo here. We were initially anxious because of some of the google reviews but it was the only place nearby that would accommodate same day walk ins and this was a last minute thing. The first person who helped us didn't give us a sketch we were vibing with but the next person (I think his name was Adam) really helped us stay true to our design and was very careful and careful with the brushwork. Because it was a matching tattoo, he encouraged us to use our own handwriting rather than one of the computer generated fonts. He also didn't pressure us into doing the tattoo with him and showed us his instagram with examples of other tattoos he had done which allowed us to know what to expect and make a more informed decision. We both love the tattoo and thought it was well worth the cost

I have gotten almost all of my (30 something) piercings here, only 1 tattoo, i hate to say i was devastated by the tattoo but that was an individual person, not the shop as a whole. Some of the staff have a bit of prickle to them, but I kind of love that. It adds to the ambiance of the place. I plan to keep coming to BA for piercings, and have brought friends/family there for piercings. Never any issues & you can tell the staff are well practiced/trained.Services: Daith piercing

TLDR - Piercer accidentally pierced me while putting in new jewelry.I'm not one for leaving negative reviews but I feel like I have to share what happened to me here because it was pretty jarring.I went here to simply get new jewelry put into my 3rd earlobe piercings. They were pierced by another shop a few months ago. The existing jewelry was irritating so I decided to get small hoops put in their place. The person who worked with me at Body Art was nice, but when she put new hoops in I felt way more pain than expected. When she was done I looked in the mirror and noticed some blood but didn't question it.When I got home I saw that one of the hoops was actually very clearly coming out of a new hole. I could now see two different exit holes on the back of my ear.I didn't ask to get re-pierced, and my skin wasn't cleaned or prepared before the employee pushed a hoop earring through my ear. I know mistakes can happen but this felt very odd to me. I went back to the shop and showed the employee the new hole, she seemed genuinely surprised but ultimately at that point, the damage was done. Hoping everything heals ok and that this doesn't happen again!Service: Ear piercing
