I was panicked when I saw that the building that included Ed's was wrapped in construction tape, and Greg's phone when to the disconnected number recording. Greg has cut my hair for the last 15 years, and I really wasn't ready to switch barbers. I checked here, and saw the review that included his new number (757-977-9971). He answered, and after a brief chat agreed to come to my place that day. He arrived on time, gave me a great haircut, and went on his busy way.

Greg has always been a cool dude in my eyes since I first met him in 2018 when I had to cut my long chest-length hair after the summer. He's located at the Chartway Arena just in front of the Starbucks inside on W 43rd Street now. With the move to a new place right next to the ODU main campus he had to increase the price per haircut from the $5 it was on Colley a few years back, but the conversations and quality haircuts remain worth it. (Especially compared to other places that charge $40+!)Services: Haircut

Ed's is a callback to a bygone time. One chair, one TV, one barber. Ed is deceased, his son, Greg now runs the joint. He'll give you a no nonsense cut in a timely manner the old fashion way -- hot cream and razor finish. Don't go for frills or thrills, but a good experience with a good man. For $7 a cut, you can't beat it, just tip him the difference for a normal $14 cut.P.S. He's an ace with military cuts.
