The new remodeled Wilford Hall is very nice! From the outside walking in you'll see a new modern look, plenty of lighting in the parking lot as well as along side the building. Once you walk in, There is plenty of friendly staff/personnel to help guide around. Ts a very pretty building, oh and the new food court is worth a trip!

Look guys, I've been a part of the military medical system for 48 years now. I was born in Bad Constatt hospital in Stuttgart, West Germany back when there was a West Germany. I'm really tired of the whining and complaining I hear my comrades doing about military medicine. In case you haven't been exposed to private sector medical services lately I'm here to tell you, you've got it made! Wait times, appointment delays, and cranky desk clerks are not unique to the military. Mishaps happen at the various hospitals around town too. So yeah, it was my birthday and to start the day off right, I made my way to Wilford Hall for a mammogram. Oh boy, I was so excited! Clearly, my mammographer, Cathy, was just as excited. Once she dispatched with the perfunctory speech, we chatted while she twisted and contorted me in ways I didn't know I could. She was very professional & made sure I understood the process step by step. As we talked while she manipulated my ample bosom, we seemed to bond. Not in a creepy way, but in the way of sisterhood. By the time she'd finished, we were old besties! She hugged me on my way out the door and left me final instruction. Professional, yet caring. This accurately describes damned-near every experience I've ever had at Wilford Hall...and every other military medical facility. So quit your whining, folks. Until you've had to pay/experience private sector medicine you know not of what you speak.
