Hive Five is a professional and clean establishment. There is a huge staff that all seem to be very experienced. I highly recommend getting a manicure/pedicure from this location.

Cleanliness: The place seems new and well kept. It is quite large for being in the Oak Lawn area.

This is the second time my friend and I have come to High Five Nail Bar after a long day of work at Dallas market center. EVERYONE is so friendly and welcoming. Our first time here was back in June and now we are back again in October. We were so excited to come back to High Five because of the service we received. TOP NOTCH!! Luxurious!! Best massage I have ever received with a mani/pedi. We recommend - Carol, Michelle, Jenny, and Katie! Can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely love the experience at this salon. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. Vincent the manager always goes the extra mile to make sure you feel comfortable and all your needs are met.

WILL is my all time favorite tech. Patient and always has my nails perfectly shaped and manicured. Creative with designs and makes recommendations with colors. I'm in and out and the quality of service is amazing.

Called to see if they had availability for 2. I was told yes. Was immediately sat in pedicure chairs . Waited almost 10 minutes before someone came with the menu showing pedicures and complimentary drinks. Ordered a drink and waited for it to come. 20 more minutes past before someone came to reassure us someone was coming. I told them we had somewhere to be at 130. They lady reassured us someone was coming. It became 1235 and this was a 45 minute service. We had to go and I mentioned we could come back and make an appointment. Was trying to see if we could come back for 4 but still have the happy hour honored due to us waiting 45 minutes and still not being serviced. The front desk lady was rude and told us to wait . Waited another 10 minutes to speak to someone and nothing. My best advice is to make an appointment . I’m disappointed I wasn’t able to receive a service.

UPDATE: I was called back and offered 10% off if I came back at 4 pm. The happy hour is 20%. So even though I waited 45 minutes for someone to FINALLY turn on the water and get my service, due to many guests needing to be served, I couldn’t have the happy hour honored.

Be cautious of so many positive reviews and keep in mind that they are usually because of a promotion. It seems like my GF and my experience here is very similar to a number of others: we made an appointment more than 24 hours in advance only to arrive on time and have to wait 15 minutes with only standing room. Then we were taken to the pedicure chairs to wait for 40 minutes with absolutely no service or acknowledgement, despite a number of customers finishing and clearing out. Not sure how much longer we’d have waited like those around us but we left before we could find out. The appointment system is a charade. Too many other great options nearby—sad, because we really wanted to like this spot.
