Thank you for letting me drop in while visiting Arlington. Great facility, solid instruction, friendly atmosphere. Look forward to returning to your mats wheb I visit. I got to roll with THREE women black belts in 1 night. What a bonus!
My son Goku is Autistic. Was nonverbal until 6 or 7 years old. he is now going on 10 and has been a part of Alvarez BJJ for a year. They changed his life for the better. He went from a shy kid with huge sensory issues, to hitting those mats like any other kid. He attended his 1st tournament and laughed and smiled the whole time, even after losing his match. He was so proud of himself I cried. We thought he would never lead a normal life, but now he has something he loves. ABJJ brought out a side of Goku we have never seen. He looks forward to his classes and loves to tell us how much fun he has. The staff here is so encouraging and never once tried to give up on him.... read full review
I have grown up coming here for the past 16 years, and then I joined the military and every time I am back in town they let me drop in and roll again. i am always welcomed back with open arms! Its a great place to be if you want to train and take getting in shape seriously
